Service Description
Transition to school is the process of moving from early childhood education and care (ECEC)/preschool to school. It is an important milestone in a child's life, and it is important to make the transition as smooth and positive as possible. The focus of these workshops will be; • listening carefully and following instructions • feeling comfortable interacting with other children in the classroom • language skills and the need to communicate effectively in the classroom • pre-reading and numeracy skills • developing fine motor skills- reinforcing being able to hold a pencil correctly and to cut with scissors. • independence at meal times and looking after belongings School Readiness Holiday Workshop When: Monday 15th –Friday 19th January Time: 9.00am-11.00am (maximum groups of 5 children ) Price- 5 days $200
